About the Journal

The Journal Health and Technology (JHT) is a multidisciplinary scientific journal dedicated to the interface among Health Sciences, Biological Sciences, Engineering, Human Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Applied Social Sciences, Linguistics, Literature and Arts, as well as Exact and Earth Sciences. Its editorial scope focuses on the dissemination of scientific and technological knowledge that contributes to social development, scientific advancement, and innovation across diverse fields.

JHT operates under a continuous publication model with monthly periodicity and accepts a wide range of manuscript types, including original research articles, research reports, reviews, book reviews, undergraduate thesis papers, study protocols, and conference proceedings. Since 2025, the journal has adopted a bilingual publication policy, publishing articles in both Portuguese and English to enhance international visibility and accessibility.

JHT is registered on the CAPES/Sucupira Platform and holds a Qualis B3 classification (2021–2024 quadrennium) in eleven areas (Nursing, Environmental Sciences, Law, Education, Engineering III, Interdisciplinary, Medicine II, Dentistry, Urban and Regional Planning/Demography, Psychology, and Public Health), demonstrating its consolidation within the national scientific landscape. The journal is currently indexed in 20 databases and directories, reinforcing its commitment to editorial quality and the broad dissemination of knowledge.

Aligned with Open Science principles, JHT follows a fully open-access model, ensuring free and unrestricted access to its content. The journal upholds the belief that scientific knowledge should serve society by fostering equity, innovation, and improved quality of life.
